Geum ‘Koi‘ A clump forming herbaceous perennial with fuzzy, dark green pinnate leaves and erect stems supporting double flowers.
Geums are wonderful, cheerful additions to the garden that really work hard for much of the summer. Just deadhead individual flowers, since there are usually flowers out next to buds just below the faded flowers. So keep those lovely long stems with plenty of buds still to come
Propagation methods Division
Best in fertile, moist but well-drained or well-drained soil in sun. Flowers are sterile so bloom time is extended. Tolerates partial shade. Avoid waterlogged soil in winter. Dies back in cold climates, may be evergreen or semi-evergreen in warm areas.
